Easy Connect ISP recruits 10 ISP Technical Team Leader jobs. The ISP Team Leader is in charge of administering and maintaining the internet’s software, hardware, and network infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
The individual will be responsible for the strategic management of Internet solutions, services, and support for end-users. The employee will handle Internet and Groupware Services with the IT customer support team, which comprises highly technical individuals that manage and support the Agency’s overall goal of providing highly efficient and effective Internet services. The primary responsibility of the ISP Team Leader is to provide operational and maintenance support to the O&M team to ensure network stability and meet the requisite SLA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quality, efficacy, and customer satisfaction in the provision of service operations are monitored and reported on.
  • In UBIQUITI, CISCO, and Mikrotik, you can install and configure any device.
  • Take charge of the team’s day-to-day operations, offering overall guidance and oversight.
  • Service restoration entails meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
  • To grow the team and collaborate with other Easy Connect departments to achieve common business objectives.
  • By phone and email, act as an escalation point for consumer concerns and questions.
  • Out-of-hours escalation contact for service issues.
  • Assuring that the right environment is in place for workers to be mentored, developed, and trained effectively.
  • Develop and own the team’s processes and procedures based on the company’s best practices.
  • Workload should be organized and prioritized.
  • To safeguard data, software, and hardware, plan, coordinate, and implement network security procedures.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to systems and network setups and assess the hardware and software requirements for such changes.
  • Monitor network performance to see if any adjustments are required and where future changes will be required.
  • Collect information about client requirements and utilize it to identify, predict, analyze, and assess the system and network requirements.

More Duties:

  • Maintain network security, server deployment, and network integrity.
  • Determine network and system needs, as well as innovative solutions to technical problems.
  • Every Network problem is checked and reviewed, and the methods for resolving it are logged and preserved for future reference.
  • Handle incoming help requests from end users politely over the phone and via email.
  • Manage and lead a team of Engineers and Technicians to keep the Easy Connect network stable.
  • Routine Preventive Maintenance operations are planned, implemented, and monitored.
  • For all serious and emergencies, perform Corrective Maintenance.
  • Allocate resources for all planned and unplanned responsibilities.
  • Regularly preparing and tracking daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Coordination with the Customer Support team to ensure that deliverables are completed on time.
  • In any critical/important activity, provide first and second-level support to the field team.
  • All configurations and change/modification requests must be coordinated, scheduled, and communicated.
  • Driving and implementing operations services plan following Easy Connect Standards to meet performance, cost goals, and quality.
  • Arrange for on-field training for the team’s professional development.
  • To create a high-performance culture within the group, establish and maintain regular communication with employees, set development goals, and provide performance feedback.
  • Develop, design, and deploy new services in collaboration with the Line Manager for Field Operations.
  • To ensure that Easy Connect’s established processes and Telecom Standards are followed daily.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in IT or computer science.
  • 3 years of practical experience in the relevant sector.
  • Capable of performing work with hand tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively while maintaining a high level of initiative and discipline.
  • If necessary, I am willing to work nights and weekends.
  • Priority will be given to holders of valid MCSE, CCNA, MTCNA, and other online certifications.
  • Strong Mikrotik and UBNT skills will be given first consideration and a chance to be chosen.
  • Organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities are essential.
  • Strong Pashto, Dari, and English communication abilities (Verbal & Written).
  • Ability to assess and solve problems, as well as a strong client relationship.
  • When necessary, able to work long hours.

Competencies:

  • Significant prior experience in a similar job within an ISP or telecommunications company.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of analyzing problems, concerns, and needs to develop solid but adaptable solutions that satisfy present and future needs.
  • Ability to cope with a changing environment, especially the ability to adjust to meet business-critical events in an emergency.
  • Working under duress/on one’s initiative with little supervision.
  • Team player that gives improvement ideas and suggestions.
  • A strong desire to learn about cutting-edge ISP technologies.
  • Strong desire to learn about advanced ISP technologie۸s.
  • Installation experience with a variety of Internet devices (UBIQUITI, Mikrotik &, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of popular troubleshooting techniques.
  • Extensive incident and problem management experience.
  • Technical expertise and familiarity with a variety of monitoring technologies.
  • Proven management experience in operations and maintenance.
  • Understanding the protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, routing, and so on) and design of digital communications networks (routers, switches, firewall, etc.)
  • Human resource management fundamentals are well-understood.
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills are all essential.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks successfully in a high-pressure atmosphere.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly to a wide range of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Capable of traveling and working across the country, particularly in isolated areas.
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and able to properly plan and prioritize time.
  • Willingness to study new goods and network technologies, as well as the competence to do so.
