About CTG:
The International Organization for Migration in Afghanistan implements multi-donor projects and programs to support and inform operational processes towards the provision of humanitarian and community development assistance by IOM and its partners. The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) is IOM’s information management system to track and monitor population displacement during crises; the DTM is composed of different tools and processes. The main objective of DTM in Operations Assistant, the DTM Enumerator collects data for DTM’s Longitudinal Returnee Survey programs.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Enumerators at CTG:
- The position holder should contact those on DTM’s internal Lists, especially, returnees as part of DTM’s REMAP’s LRS activity.
- Schedule meetings to collect data through DTM’s data collection tools.
- According to the DTM operations assistant’s operational plan, conduct evaluation and surveys as part of DTM’s LRS REMAP activities in designated geographical areas.
- Making a strong relationship with relevant data sources in the related geographical areas including different NGO and governmental partners.
- Ensure the accuracy and exactness of the information collected and amend the questionnaire form at the end of each interview and registrations.
- Identifying and correcting inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and omissions in data before submission to the SQL server.
- Submit all completed surveys to the DTM Team Leader on time.
- Follow up on data quality inquiries and do the clarifications required by the DTM Operations Assistant, or DTM Management team in Kabul, and edit the forms/questionnaires as a requirement, and in alignment with the information received from assessment and survey participants.
- Encoding all the collected data into the Kobo System using a Computer or other devices.
- Prepare a report about the daily activities, submit it to the DTM Team leader, and make relevant recommendations.
- Being able to submit all the administrative and financial documents on time.
- Following IOM’s Data Protection Principles.
- Perform other related necessary tasks assigned by the line managers

Job Requirements:
- Interested applicants should have a high school diploma. (Higher degree preferred).
- The person should have over two years of experience in conducting community and household assessments and surveys.
- Having experience in working with the Afghan government, UN agencies, NGOs, and military counterparts is a plus point.
- Knowing Microsoft Office programs.
- Being familiar with mobile data collection technologies.
- Being fluent in Dari, Pashtu, and English languages.
